Shared Innovation Model
The Shared Innovation Model at PITC, inspired by the semiconductor industry, enables faster, cost-effective, and more efficient multi-party innovation. By sharing R&D costs and liabilities, partners access all programme know-how, reducing risks and accelerating time-to-market for innovations.
Our research programmes are supported by an IP model that facilitates fair collaboration and smooth transfer to industry. Collaboration is further strengthened through initiatives like industrial residency at PITC facilities. Programmes are guided by a shared technology roadmap with industrially relevant proof points, updated annually in partnership with programme members. PITC acts as the 'orchestrator.'
Results are typically shared non-exclusively among programme partners through customised agreements meeting the partners’ needs.
